And so I embrace the new season that is almost upon us, looking forward to the beauty it brings into my life, and all the wonderful opportunities it will present for photography in the upcoming months. But I bid farewell to the spring - until we meet again.
As we power towards summer, I always get a little sentimental as spring comes to an end. It is by far my favorite season of them all, as it heralds the arrival of warm weather and an end to the cold, quiet and dull world we experience here in the Northeastern USA during our winter months. By now the early season tulips, daffodils and cherry tree blossoms have been replaced with bright iris, peony and allium flowers. Bees buzz around gardens and trees collecting pollen for their quickly growing hives, as butterflies start making an appearance in the fresh meadows and fields. Birds once again greet the early morning sun with their beautiful songs which fill the air with glorious sound, while their chicks begin to hatch and start their new lives.
And so I embrace the new season that is almost upon us, looking forward to the beauty it brings into my life, and all the wonderful opportunities it will present for photography in the upcoming months. But I bid farewell to the spring - until we meet again.
